My experience at the Orient Hostel was a unique one. It was my first time travelling to Istanbul and my first time staying in a hostel. This hostel proved not only to be a truly cost effective means of accommodation but it was also very clean and central to all attractions. The staff there were extremely helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend it. The week I stayed there they had new beds and lockers installed in all the rooms so for me I totally luck out. Enjoy.

Incredibly close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, fairly close to the Grand Bazaar. The staff if friendly and helpful, wifi is a huge plus. Breakfast is good, beds are comfortable, showers are hot. It's a very nice place to stay, and I had a lovely time.

My to friends and me stayed 6 nights at Orient Hostel. The first night was a bit hot and short. The rooms like the beds are clean and suitable for sleeping. The outlook from the amazing rooftop is stunning and you can get to all the top highlights in the old city (like AyaSophia, Blue Mosque) in a few minutes. The location is amazing ! I´ve enjoyed the time in Orient Hostel, especially the staff ;)

The best hostel. I was in different hostels, but Orient the best. Very friendly staff. Location nice all are near. View from mansard roof good. I was thrice here. 2008-2009-2011 years. I hope come back again. Best regards, Bakytzhan

Dear Orient Hostel Staff, once again we would like to thank you for this great accommodation in Istanbul! We stayed for 4 nighst and had a great time - nice and clean rooms, great location (walking distances!), great view from roof terrace and very friendly and helpful staff! We really enjoyed staying at the Orient Hostel and highly recommend it for a trip to Istanbul!

Me & my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is good with nice views of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorous. The rooms are reasonably priced. Thanks to all the staff at Orient!

I worked at the Orient in 1995 from July to October as a bartender. I loved the Orient, I have very fond memories of it. I hope Abraham the manager is still working there, I will come back one day.

Just got back from a college trip with my students. The hostel is in a perfect location especially as on a street with great restaurants etc and also for main sights such as blue mosque, grand Bazaar, Topkapi etc and the hostel has great facilities (eating and entertainment area), rooms clean and the staff are really helpful.
